    A semi gantry crane is a type of crane with one leg running on a ground rail, while the other side is supported by a long supporting beam typically mounted on an indoor workshop structure or an outdoor workshop wall. In essence, a semi gantry crane is a special form of bridge crane.

    Depending on the required lifting capacity, users can choose between a double girder or single girder configuration. Under normal conditions, a single girder semi gantry crane can handle loads up to 50 tons with a span up to 35 meters. For applications requiring a wide gantry leg, high‑speed operation, or lifting of heavy and long pieces, a double girner semi gantry crane is recommended.

    Shandong Xingyuan Machinery offers two configurations:

    Single girder semi gantry crane – equipped with a CD1 or MD1 electric hoist as the lifting mechanism.

    Double girder semi gantry crane – equipped with a trolley as the lifting mechanism.

    The main girder is available in box beam or lattice girder design for customer selection. The spreader can also be supplied in various types. For example, we provide an electromagnetic hanging beam as a spreader for lifting steel pipes or steel sheets.
