1. Core Positioning
A winch is a general‑purpose lifting device that uses a drum to wind wire rope or chain for lifting, lowering, or pulling heavy loads. Its core functions are to provide stable pulling force and precise displacement control. 2. Working Principle
A power source (electric motor or hydraulic motor) outputs torque, which is transmitted to a reducer to increase torque while reducing speed before being delivered to the drum.
As the drum rotates, it winds or unwinds the wire rope or chain. Pulley blocks (optional) may be used to amplify pulling force or change the direction of force.
A braking system (electromagnetic or hydraulic brake) controls the start and stop of the drum, enabling smooth lifting, lowering, and precise positioning of heavy loads.
