On the morning of May 1st, red flags fluttered across the Xingyuan Machinery campus, while the roar of machines continued undiminished inside the workshops. The company's general manager led the management team, carrying bouquets of flowers and gifts, as they visited each production workshop in turn—riveting and welding, machining, assembly, commissioning, and more—to extend holiday greetings to the employees who remained steadfast at their posts.

At every stop, the leaders cordially shook hands with the front-line workers and inquired in detail about their work and well-being. In the riveting and welding workshop, the automatic submerged arc welding production line was running at full capacity, fabricating main girder structural components for a recent batch of export orders. The company leaders conveyed their holiday greetings to the welding team and expressed full recognition of their long-standing dedication, embodied in the spirit of "sacrificing personal time for the greater good."

Master Wang, a veteran employee operating a CNC cutting machine, received the gifts and said with emotion, "I've been welding for over a decade. On the eve of International Workers' Day, Xingyuan Machinery also held a grand commendation ceremony for the 2026 "Xingyuan Craftsmen" and "Outstanding Workers." Following department recommendations, democratic evaluations, and a comprehensive review, a total of five front-line employees were awarded the honorary title of "Xingyuan Craftsman," while twelve were recognized as "Outstanding Workers."

Li Jianguo, shift leader in the Assembly Workshop and a recipient of the "Xingyuan Craftsman" award, said during his acceptance speech: "This honor belongs not only to me personally but to our entire team. As an assembly worker, I deeply understand that the tightening torque of every bolt and the adjustment of every clearance directly impacts the safe operation of the crane. During the May Day holiday period, production tasks at Xingyuan Machinery remained heavy. The company recently won the bid for the crane procurement project for the C2CO2 compressor building of the CNOOC-Shell Huizhou Polycarbonate Project. Coupled with the approaching delivery deadlines for multiple overseas export orders, all workshops operated at full capacity and worked against tight schedules to ensure products were delivered on time and to quality standards.

Stepping into the workshops, one saw welding sparks dancing and overhead cranes gliding back and forth. The focused expressions of the workers intertwined with the roar of machinery, creating the most captivating scene of the holiday.

In the machining workshop, a large CNC boring and milling machine was processing a gear reducer housing destined for export; in the assembly workshop, workers were performing final commissioning on a 180-ton metallurgical overhead crane soon to be shipped to a port; in the quality inspection area, inspectors held ultrasonic flaw detectors, carefully examining every weld on the main girder… Every process and every post was operating in a smooth and orderly manner.

"Although I can't travel like others, contributing to the company's order delivery from my post is also a special way to spend the holiday," said a young engineer with a smile, as he was debugging an electrical control system.
